Piyush Yadav

Piyush Yadav is a Conservation Technology Fellow at RESOLVE, where he focuses on developing and implementing new technologies for wildlife protection. Piyush co-developed TrailGuard AI, an AI-powered camera used for Wildlife Conservation. TrailGuard was listed as one of the Time's Magazine Invention of the year, for 2023. Piyush has been featured in the award-winning CNN documentary, Mission Tiger and The Hindu, for his work on TrailGuard AI which led to the arrest of poachers in Dudhwa Tiger Reserve of India. Piyush completed his bachelor’s in electronics & communication engineering from Delhi Technological University in 2020. Piyush has previously worked on solar-powered UAVs, high-efficiency solar cells, and low-cost mobile air quality monitoring methods. Piyush is deeply passionate about using deep tech solutions to solve environmental challenges our world faces.
